Job Description

P and P Communications is a focussed PR and online agency based in Hyde Park that offers integrated services to the business to business sectors in the mining, industrial, engineering, technology and other sectors.

P and P is looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow the business and offer its integrated services to clients in the Business to Business sector. The selected person will work closely with the MD and Account Managers to prepare pitches, presentations and close deals. P and P is looking for an experienced account manager or director, who is well networked and experienced at pitching for business. A great position for an entrepreneurial and ambitious person to become part of the management team and more! The starting date is 1st January or 1st February 2012.

Skills Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a PR and/or online agency
Experienced at pitching and managing PR/online accounts
Sales and good network-building skills
Ability to create and maintain extensive database
Strong existing network of what’s up in the PR/online industry

Advantageous

Knowledge of B2B market - ICT, industrial, mining
Knowledge on online/digital services and sector
Good network of potential clients

Personal Skills/Attributes

Self-motivated and dynamic
Comfortable and confident with cold calling
Disciplined
Team player and ability to deal with pressure
Socially conscious
